New Partner Appointments

SAI Actuarial Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Pierre-Luc Lamothe and Charles Provost as Partners of the firm, effective April 1, 2026.
Pierre-Luc joined SAI in 2010, where he began his career in the field of pension plans. He subsequently evolved his practice toward investment management consulting, an area in which he now supports his clients with a strategic, rigorous approach focused on value creation.
Throughout his career, Pierre‑Luc has distinguished himself by developing deep expertise in asset allocation, manager selection and evaluation, as well as in the management of investment‑ and funding‑related risks. Recognized for his innovative mindset, he stands out for his ability to design and implement tailored, specialized, and high‑level solutions that address his clients’ complex and specific challenges, while translating them into clear, structured, and actionable recommendations.
Pierre-Luc is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Charles joined SAI in 2012 to begin his career in actuarial science. Since then, he has specialized primarily in the field of pension plans.
Over the years, Charles has developed extensive expertise across a wide variety of plan types and jurisdictions. He brings this expertise to his clients with unwavering dedication, always striving to identify appropriate solutions and ensure their effective implementation. For Charles, his clients’ needs are consistently the top priority, and he never hesitates to invest the necessary effort to deliver high‑quality service.
Charles is a graduate of the Université de Montréal and has held the designation of Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) since 2019.
